Turin’s “living room” is overlooked by the Royal Palace, official residence of the Savoy family until 1865, the Church of San Lorenzo, the Royal Armoury, and Palazzo Madama, a building with a precious baroque façade, currently seat of the Municipal Museum of Ancient Art of the City of Turin. The itinerary will also take in Piazza S. Carlo and Piazza Carignano (external tours). Visiting Turin’s historical centre also means discovering beautiful squares and elegant baroque buildings, as well as exploring multiple shopping streets and the city’s famous 18 km of porticoes, housing antiques stores, shops and historical cafés. Lunch: free time. In the afternoon, you can take time for your own explorations. A visit to the Egyptian Museum is also recommended. We will then return to our departure point, where we will arrive in the evening.
